Type: intransitive verb root

Meaning:
  • with intransitive ending and no object:
    • to skin an animal )
    • ex.: aaktuqtuq
  • with intransitive ending and object *:
    • to skin s.t. (an animal (-mik)
    • ex.: aaktuqtuq
  • with transitive ending:
    • to skin it (an animal )
    • ex.: aaktuqtara

*Transitivity suffixes

  • this verb root can also be used with transitive suffixes or verb endings without the need of a suffix of transitivity
