Type: intransitive verb root

Meaning:
  • with intransitive ending and no object:
    • to be lazy or apathetic about s.t.
    • ex.: iqiagusuktuq
  • with intransitive ending and object *:
    • to be lazy or apathetic about s.t. (-mik)
    • ex.: iqiagusuktuq
  • with transitive ending*:
    • to be lazy or apathetic about it
    • ex.: iqiagijara

*Transitivity suffixes

  • when used with intransitive suffixes or verb endings, this verb root must be followed by the suffix of intransitivity gusuk1vv: iqiagusuktuq
  • when used with transitive suffixes or verb endings, this verb root must be followed by the suffix of transitivity gi4vv: iqiagivanga
