Type: intransitive verb root

Meaning:
  • with intransitive ending and no object:
    • to watch or observe s.t. from hidden place
    • ex.: ittuaqtuq
  • with intransitive ending and object *:
    • to watch or observe s.t. (-mik) from hidden place
    • ex.: ittuaqtuq
  • with transitive ending:
    • to watch or observe it from hidden place
    • ex.: ittuaqtara

*Transitivity suffixes

  • this verb root can also be used with transitive suffixes or verb endings without the need of a suffix of transitivity
