Meaning:
  • with intransitive ending and no object:
    • 1. 1. to go up or climb s.t.
    • 2. 2. to go ashore from boat or from sea-ice
    • ex.: majuqtuq
  • with intransitive ending and object *:
    • 1. to go up or climb s.t. (-mik)
    • ex.: majuqtuq
  • with transitive ending:
    • 1. to go up or climb it
    • ex.: majuqtara

*Transitivity suffixes

  • this verb root can also be used with transitive suffixes or verb endings without the need of a suffix of transitivity
