Meaning:
  • with intransitive ending and no object:
    • 1. 1. to follow
    • 2. 2. to obey
    • ex.: maliktuq
  • with intransitive ending and object *:
    • 1. 1. to follow s.o. or s.t. (-mik)
    • 2. 2. to obey s.o. (-mik)
    • ex.: maliktuq
  • with transitive ending:
    • 1. 1. to follow him/her or it
    • 2. 2. to obey him/her
    • ex.: maliktara

*Transitivity suffixes

  • this verb root can also be used with transitive suffixes or verb endings without the need of a suffix of transitivity
