Type: intransitive verb root

Meaning:
  • with intransitive ending and no object:
    • to joke or banter with s.o.
    • ex.: mitaqtuq
  • with intransitive ending and object *:
    • to joke or banter with s.o. (-mik)
    • ex.: mitaqtuq
  • with transitive ending:
    • to joke or banter with him/her
    • ex.: mitaqtara

*Transitivity suffixes

  • this verb root can also be used with transitive suffixes or verb endings without the need of a suffix of transitivity
