Alternative forms: pasi; pasik; pasak

Meaning:
  • with intransitive ending and no object:
    • to suspect, to accuse s.o.
    • ex.: pasagusuktuq
  • with intransitive ending and object *:
    • to suspect, to accuse s.o. (-mik)
    • ex.: pasagusuktuq
  • with transitive ending*:
    • to suspect, to accuse him/her
    • ex.: pasagijara

*Transitivity suffixes

  • when used with intransitive suffixes or verb endings, this verb root must be followed by the suffix of intransitivity gusuk1vv: pasagusuktuq
  • when used with transitive suffixes or verb endings, this verb root must be followed by the suffix of transitivity gi4vv: pasagivanga
