Type: intransitive verb root

Meaning:
  • with intransitive ending and no object:
    • to feel s.t. over with the hands
    • ex.: patajuktuq
  • with intransitive ending and object *:
    • to feel s.t. (-mik) over with the hands
    • ex.: patajuktuq
  • with transitive ending:
    • to feel it over with the hands
    • ex.: patajuktara

*Transitivity suffixes

  • this verb root can also be used with transitive suffixes or verb endings without the need of a suffix of transitivity
