Meaning:
  • with intransitive ending and no object:
    • to want s.t. badly, desperately
    • ex.: qilanaaqtuq
  • with intransitive ending and object *:
    • to want s.t. (-mik) badly, desperately
    • ex.: qilanaaqtuq
  • with transitive ending*:
    • to want it badly, desperately
    • ex.: qilanaarijara

*Transitivity suffixes

  • when used with transitive suffixes or verb endings, this verb root must be followed by the suffix of transitivity gi4vv: qilanaarivanga
