Type: intransitive verb root

Meaning:
  • with intransitive ending and no object:
    • to draw back
    • ex.: qunujuq
  • with intransitive ending and object *:
    • to draw back from s.o. or s.t. (-mik)
    • ex.: qunujuq
  • with transitive ending*:
    • to draw back from him/her or it
    • ex.: qunugijara

*Transitivity suffixes

  • when used with transitive suffixes or verb endings, this verb root must be followed by the suffix of transitivity gi4vv: qunugivanga
