Type: intransitive verb root

Meaning:
  • with intransitive ending and no object:
    • to smooth s.t. with a plane
    • ex.: sanirarmiktuq
  • with intransitive ending and object *:
    • to smooth s.t. (-mik) with a plane
    • ex.: sanirarmiktuq
  • with transitive ending:
    • to smooth it with a plane
    • ex.: sanirarmiktara

*Transitivity suffixes

  • this verb root can also be used with transitive suffixes or verb endings without the need of a suffix of transitivity
