Type: transitive verb root

Meaning:
to /shatter, /break s.t. in fragments

with transitive ending:
- to shatter, break it in fragments
with intransitive ending, an antipassive suffix^*, and an object:
- to shatter, break s.t. (-mik) in fragments
with intransitive ending, no antipassive suffix, in the reflexive mode:
- to shatter, break in fragments
with intransitive ending, no antipassive suffix, in the passive mode:
- to be shattered, be broken in fragments

^*Antipassive suffix

when used with intransitive suffixes or verb endings and an object, in order for the verb NOT to be interpreted passively or reflexively, this verb root must be followed by the antipassive suffix i_1vv:
