Meaning:
  • with intransitive ending and no object:
    • to fight, combat
    • ex.: unataqtuq
  • with intransitive ending and object *:
    • to fight, combat s.o. or s.t. (-mik)
    • ex.: unataqtuq
  • with transitive ending:
    • to fight, combat him/her or it
    • ex.: unataqtara

*Transitivity suffixes

  • this verb root can also be used with transitive suffixes or verb endings without the need of a suffix of transitivity
